I read this many moons ago. One of the better books on zen. I like DT Suzuki's Introduction to Zen Buddhism the best.

DTS was more of a scholar than a practitioner -- and even as a practitioner he gave no indication of special insight much less realization. Anyway, that's just my opinion. Thanks for the feedback.
